I travel for work, I do compliance audits for gas stations, this one is actually on my list. It’s usually an OK experience. Some days are better than others. This morning when I pulled in to rest at this Loves on I65 in Prichard, Al. I ran out of gas, not a huge problem, but it’s also almost 100’ in the sun, which is where I am parked, over by dog park. I drive a hybrid Toyota Prius, my battery cable needs taking off the battery where the cars computer will reset. When I went inside to ask if someone from the shop could help me out, he radio’s back & said sure. But after I walked to RR, & came back. Suddenly, no one can help me take the battery cable off my car!!!! It’s a liability issue he says, smugly. I tried once again to plead with the employe I didnt recognize. Then I realized I was on my own with this stupidly small issue! I told them I have the ratchets all I needed was a man/woman to get under my backseat. Which because of my age I can not do. Therefore, me and my chihuahua am left sitting out here in the heat in my car. These folks have plugged tires, changed tires on my car, this same Prius! And now they can’t help me do this? Hot dogs are great just have no condiments every time I go in seems to only have 2 item's, used to have plenty of stuff, Not sure why they don’t now. The staff are friendly and the restrooms are very clean.

We were headed to Texas from Maryland when our oldest grandson had an upset stomach that caused a huge mess in the van. We pulled off the highway to this Love’s to clean him and the van up. Thankfully, LaToya Taylor came to our rescue. She provided us with cleaning rags, a bucket of hot water with cleaning solution AND gloves. It took about an hour and a few refills of clean water, but we got most of it cleaned up. Thank you so very much for your patience and assistance. We really appreciate you and the male employee who asked if there was anything he could help us with. You guys are amazing!!!!

I would like to give recognition to Tyanna & T. They provided me with excellent service. Displayed professional and very courteous. Kudos to these to for assisting me with my truck repair issues while providing me with their knowledge.

We earned a free coffee today and that always feels like a small victory. Scanning the Love's app as we've made our way along this journey, we finally hit the free cup reward and honestly, free coffee really does taste better. We ducked into the restrooms for a quick stop and they were in great shape, the kind of clean that makes the whole visit feel easier. Mrs. K and I built our large coffees just the way we like them, medium roast ground to order with a touch of cream and a few ice cubes, and when I went to pay the clerk smiled and told me it was free which was fabulous and added a little spark to the morning. We didn't need fuel or snacks this time around but the price on the pumps was competitive and the coolers were full if we had needed anything, another solid Love's stop along the way.
